Better late than never summer recap 2010

Tauphus park. we went to the parkwith our really good friends to use the tickets the kids earned in teh summer reading program.

OcToPuS !!!! Cammy McKinley and Brynnlee.

The three stooges. at Tauphus park

Chase and Westin insisted on Mini golf even though it was Way too hot.

Rawlin and Hallee, ahhh first Love, he misses her like CrAzY. She is the only one who can boss Rawlin around and he will just take it. haha

I put together a Craft Camp for all of McKinley's neighborhood friends, it turned out awesome. Every Tue, and THurs in july there was a class, and they could choose which classes they wanted to take , we made cinnimon rolls, sewed tote bags, beaded watch bands, mini scrapbook albums, snow cones, painted t-shirts and homemade jam were the favorites. Except for the marshmellow shooters this class we invited boys. and we had about 18 kids. it was a blast.

Jeff and I took the kids to the zoo one last time, it was just before we sold the house.

CHUKARS GAME!!
I am not sure what we were thinking but Katie and I took the kids to a chukars game.... They boys had such a blast. after the game the kids are allowed to run the bases. How many times do you think they ran the bases? Well Westin had to be drug off the field after 10 times.

Katie and I --- just trying to have fun with all the rowdy boys.

This summer was such a blast. I know the last few summers I have said this was the best summer ever. But I think this was the best summer ever. We got to squeeze in a little of everything. Not pictured... Westin played machine pitch baseball and LOVED it. okay so did I. I was sad when it ended. Also Jeff and I took the kids to Roaring spring in Boise, the kids saved thier money all summer, and it was worth every penny.
When we put our house up for sale I said, "it would be perfect if we sold our house at the end of the summer so we could enjoy, our friends and all that we love about I.F. and then move when school starts". I am so grateful we got to spend this time in the place that we have loved to call home and enjoy our friends there before moving and starting all over. It was definately the BEST SUMMER EVER!
